Bosch shows off a battery heated jacket that charges your cell phone as well as new RH540 rotary hammer and new vacuums at World of Concrete

Who couldn’t use a jacket that heats you up and charges your phone? Bosch now offers a battery heated jacket, the PSJ120 12 V Max Heated Jacket, with three quick-warming core heat zones, two in the chest and one in the back. The heat starts in minutes and can keep you toasty up to six hours on a low level heat with a 2.0 amp/hour battery. A three-level heat controller button lights up in red, green and blue to allow you to adjust temperatures. The water and wind resistant jacket is compatible with all Bosch 12V Max batteries. The BHB120 battery holster/controller delivers current to the jacket and also provides USB charging for cell phones and other electronics. Bosch’s new RH540 rotary hammer punches out 30 percent more impact energy and 50 percent faster drilling speeds than previous models according to the company. A variable speed dial allows you to adjust the hammer for drilling or chiseling applications and for different materials. The Vario-lock mechanism allows chisels to be rotated into 12 different positions to optimize working angles. The 12 amp drill weighs just 14.2 pounds and delivers 1,200 to 2,750 blows per minute. The design features tool-free bit changes and automatic bit locking. To collect all that dust you’ll be creating with their hammer drill, Bosch came out with a new dust extraction system for a line of 9 and 14 gallon vacuums. The four vacuums are rated at 9.5 amps and pull 150 cubic feet per minute while maintaining a quiet 70 dB noise level. To decrease suction loss the Bosch vacuums offer two options of one board filter cleaning: automatic and semi-automatic. This also eliminates the time consuming chore of having to hand clean filters every time they get clogged.
