GEMINI is a high quality heavy duty press for printing of newspaper and semi commercial publications with a maximum production speed of 45000 copies per hour
The press is built in modular constructions and can be fonfigured to cater to a variety of pagination and folding possibilities. The individual printing units can be configured as MONO, 2-HI OR 4-HI TOWER.
Designed ergonomically the printing units are built with a unique SIDE WINDOW concept which allows minimum distance between the ends of the cylinder and the side walls permitting more rigid construction of the cylinders thereby ensuring better dynamic stability of the press.
The side frames of the printing unit are made of high streght gray iron castings generously proportioned for greater rigidity. The side frame on both operating and drive side are of box type design and are duly stress relieved ensuring greater stability.
Each printing unit is equipped with motorised and remotely controllable cirfumferential and sidelay registers with options of closed loop register controls. Im,pression and roller throw-off are pneumatically controlled and can be remotely actuated. Auto Register systems of most makes are easily compatible.
The Gemini Folder is designed on 1:2:2 cylinder principles and is robust with high grade gray iron castings. The folder can take upto 8 - 12 webs for half fold products.
