This used Fitel S175 Core Single Fiber Fusion Splicer is being sold as-is for parts / repair. The fusion splicer has been tested with evaluation results listed below. Actual item shown. Sold as pictured.

High splice losses on splicing.
Has problems with the imaging system when in Single Mode or Auto. It does not properly identify the core dimension.
Works okay on multimode with multimode fiber.

It has very high losses when splicing single mode fiber on numerous splice attempts.
