A Marvelous Combination of Fusion Splicing Performance and Cost Efficiency! The entirely new single fiber fusion splicer model FSM-15S has just been released by Fujikura Ltd. Designed primarily for fiber optic subscriber loops or fiber-in-the-loop systems, the FSM-15S offers a perfect balance between performance and cost effectiveness.

The FSM-15S combines the small size and field portability of Fujikura抯 FSM-05SVH II palmtop series with the full automation, ease-of-use and advanced features found in the more expensive FSM-30S fusion splicer. The FSM-15S utilizes the precision V-groove alignment and loss estimation technology pioneered by Fujikura抯 mass fusion splicers to achieve excellent splicing results with today抯 improved geometry optical fiber.
