The model 999 gated leveling preamplifier provides RF gain control from 1 to 1000MHz, pedestal output of adjustable width, blanking output, RF delay at the conclusion of a blanking pulse to permit the RF amplifer to settle before an RF signal is applied. These blanking and pulsing features make the Model 999 particulary useful in NMR spectroscopy. It is compatable with all Amplifier Research broadband high power amplifiers and other amplifiers within its bandwidth and power output capabilities.

Flatness: +/- 1.5dB
Closed-loop Control of RF Gain: 25dB minimum (40dB typical 5-500MHz)
