The New Inno Instruments IFS-15H core-alignment fusion splicer with the new DACAS (Digital Analysis Core Alignment System) is one of the most dependable splicer on the market. The IFS-15H has a user friendly, intuitive GUI (Graphical User Interface) with a 4.3 inch high-resolution color LCD screen that is easy to see and use. With a compact size of the fusion splicer (155mm*130mm*137mm) and the portable carrying case, the IFS-15H FTTH Master brings much more convenience for customers who works in the FTTx field. Besides the compact size, the most significant innovation is the compatibility. The IFS-15H is compatible with being widely used fibers and cables, even for splice-on connector. It combines the functions of both splicing and heating for those cables which are popular in FTTx: 250μm fiber, 900μm fiber, flat cable, fiber jumper and splice-on connector.
It is primarily designed for FTTH (Fiber to the home) usage and is optimized to work with Inno SOC (Splice on connectors). This provides as was for field installation personnel to rapidly attach pre made connectors on the ends of the fiber at a customers premise with out the time and expense of doing field installations on adding component connectors to bare fiber. This results in significant time saving and can cut days off of large installations.
